Central Control and Testing Institute in Agriculture in Bratislava (hereinafter called „Control Institute“) would like to inform applicants for authorisation of plant protection products that European Commission has develloped Plant Protection Products Application Management System (PPPAMS). PPPAMS is ready to use for applications for new authorisation of plant protection products, for applications for mutual recognition of an authorisation of a product which had already been authorised via PPPAMS and for applications for emergency authorisations according to Art. 53 of the Regulation No 1107/2009 (granted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic). Although the submission of applications via PPPAMS is not obligatory yet (a Regulation to introduce this obligation is being drafted by the European Commission), the Control Institute recomends all applicants for authorisation of a new product to submit applications according to Art. 33 of the Regulation No 1107/2009 via PPPAMS. PPPAMS does not replace standard application submission to Control Institute and Regulatory authorities of the concerned Member States according to their conditions and requirements. Further information on PPPAMS is available at the web-site of DG SANTE at the links bellow:

All users must create an account before being able to access and use the PPPAMS. Multinational companies that are members of ECPA, ECCA or IBMA will get the access via these associations. Other applicants can ask for access Mr Peter Kiklica (e-mail: peter.kiklica@uksup.sk ).
